Our multi-question feedback devices support more than one question. We support routed surveys, customised responses using your own visuals and even flexible questions that can be mixed and matched. Multi-question feedback devices are interactive and capture customised feedback and display reactive messages in a single device.
Can I change my survey questions?
You can change and update your survey as you need. Our team will amend your survey and deploy it to your device remotely. Simply change the wording on the backboard of your feedback kiosk when the new survey is deployed.
What sort of questions can I ask?
We have different questions types you use to suit the style of your survey: multi-select, single-select, open-ended, textual, graphical, and tabular.
How many questions should I ask?
The simple answer is as few as possible. You should be asking questions that your respondents want to answer and that you can action. If you would like any guidance our team are on hand to offer any assistance you require.
Do smiley face surveys work in all geographies?
Smiley face surveys work across all geographies, cultures and industries. We serve virtually every sector including healthcare, education, banking, retail, public sector and travel & hospitality.
Are your surveys accessible?
We offer easy read survey versions with large fonts and flexible survey designs to make it accessible for all ages and abilities.
Do you offer surveys in multiple languages?
Our surveys are multi-language and support left-to-right and right-to-left text, along with Latin, Arabic, and Hanzi.
Can I use my own images/logos in my survey?
We can put your branding on the survey, including images and colours and we can change the images used for the answer buttons. Alternatively, we have a range of different answer buttons you can use for free.
Can you help with the survey design?
Of course! Depending on the complexity and scale there may be a charge involved, but we’ll always seek to offer advice at every step.
Are the surveys templated or ‘fixed’ in structure?
Our ‘managed service’ solution allows you to specify tailored, eye-catching surveys with multiple question types, question and answer routing options, use of images, your own colours and branding, and so on. We can help you deliver relevant and attractive surveys that will really engage your users.
Do you do only have smiley face surveys?
We support all question types (rating question, free text, etc.) and we provide alternatives to our standard range of smileys; if you prefer stars or ticks, for example, we can do it.
Are the devices covered by warranty?
Yes, the devices are covered by warranty. In case of a malfunction, ViewPoint will replace the devices at no extra cost. If the device is damages however, this is not covered under warranty and you will be charged for a replacement device. Please contact your local point of contact for more information.
Can I add more devices to the same account?
We support an unlimited amount of devices on the same account. We have clients with many hundreds of devices on a single account. If you’d like to add a device just give us a call or drop us an email and we’ll discuss the best way to achieve it.
Can I run different surveys on different devices at the same time?
We can offer bespoke surveys for different devices and you can have a survey per device if needed.
Can I run different surveys on the same device easily?
We offer a few different ways to achieve this. Please speak to us so we can understand your particular need.
Do the feedback kiosks need a power supply?
We offer both battery operated and mains powered feedback kiosks. Our larger kiosks do need permanent power, and we recommend most floor standing devices be plugged in for ease. However, we have extended battery solutions so that you can run all day for events etc. without the need for power.
Do the feedback kiosks need an internet connection?
The feedback kiosks can work offline, however, they will need an internet connection to upload the responses occasionally. The devices can either use your WiFi or can be used with 4G, just let us know what is preferred.
Do you provide a handheld tablet version?
We can provide handheld devices as well as wall mount, desk mount or floor standing.
Are your devices waterproof/weatherproof?
Our feedback kiosks will cope with accidental splashes as your phone would, but they are not weatherproof.
What device should I go for?
That depends on the environment. We provide a range of devices to cater for every situation. If you’re unsure of which one to go for, we’ll be happy to help you choose – just give us a call.
Do you ship everywhere?
We ship worldwide.
Can I arrange my own shipping?
Yes you can but please note that the devices will not be covered by warranty during transportation. ViewPoint covers the warranty of the devices in the event of a malfunction however, damage is not covered and is the responsibility of the customer.
Can we brand the kiosk stand with our own artwork?
You can either choose from a range of artwork we provide as part of the product, provide your artwork for us to adapt to the device for a fee, or we can give you the template to design it yourself.
Can the devices be removed from the stand and used as a handheld device?
The device needs to remain on the stand otherwise it will power off.
Is the data secure?
The data is very secure. From the moment the response is entered at the device it is encrypted and whenever it moves between the device and the server it is further encrypted.
Where is your data held?
Our data is held in a secure, specialist data centre in the UK. If you are outside of the UK and you require your data to be held “in country” please contact us.
Who ‘owns’ the data?
You own your own data. We manage it on your behalf.
Can I capture personal details?
That is up to you. We treat all the data the same. All data is stored safely and belongs to our customers, we never do anything with it without express instruction/permission from the customer.
How does GDPR impact the data we capture?
In the majority of cases, GDPR will have no impact as only anonymous data is collected. Where there is a requirement to collect personal data, we can advise on GDPR considerations and what steps are required to ensure compliance. We are GDPR compliant and ISO 27,001:2017 certified.
Can I get to the data at any time?
Providing you have an internet connection, you can access your data at any time. Your data is available for reporting via a simple, secure web-portal log-on. From your reporting dashboard account, you can download your data.
How does the data get transferred and is it done securely?
Feedback data is encrypted using 256-bit AES encryption. It is never transferred or stored without being encrypted.
Can results be extracted for individual feedback kiosks?
We offer flexible reporting and you can see the responses at every level from individual feedback devices rolled up to HQ level.
Are survey reports downloadable?
Our dashboard reports can be downloaded as a PDF. You can also download the raw data for further analysis.
How do you manage ‘nonsense’ responses?
Nonsense responses are quarantined using our unique Valid8 algorithms to help ensure data accuracy. These responses can still be viewed and ‘unquarantined’ if necessary.
Can you notify me in real-time if I get bad responses?
We have real-time “Live Alerts”. You get an email as soon as the required parameters are met. This doesn’t have to be a ‘bad response’ but various levels and combinations of answers can be selected for triggering an alert email.
Can I get notifications on any of the data I capture?
We provide configurable live alerts to provide you with instant notification of key feedback events. You control the parameters ensuring that you only get the alerts you need.
Can I share my data easily?
You can share your data at the click of a button from your own live reporting dashboard.
Do you have a way to analyse free text ‘comments’ i.e. themes and sentiment?
We provide free-text analysis as part of our reporting suite.
Can I see an overview of all my locations combined?
You can choose to view your results by each location individually, a specific region, or all locations combined.
